Chicken in orange and pears

This recipe is an easy and delicious chicken recipe, it is so festive which makes it perfect for the holiday season!

you will need 
4 chicken legs, skin-on, bone-in, cleaned from access fat 
3- 4 large shallots, cut in quarters length wise
2 firm pears, large dice
1 cup orange juice
2 oranges, cut into segments
2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
1 teaspoon corriander seed, whole
2-3 dried chili pepper
10-12 cardamom pods, whole
1 tablespoon date molasses (or othe liquid sweetner)
salt and pepper
1 cup chestnuts, (roasted and peeled)

add all ingredients but chestnuts to a big mixing bowl, let sit in fridge for about 2 hours.
pre heat oven to 425-450, arrange chicken in baking pan, with shallots and pears around it, add chestnuts and pour liquid over the chicken. 
roast for about 20-40 minutes, until skiing is nice and brown.
